Little treats

Our second week-end in Lille, still under the sun, was focussed on our flat.

Still no pictures to show because it is too much of a mess, although we have re-built the bed, the couch and the table, and cleaned the bathroom and we finally got our fridge back (the one we bough second hand in July).

We are almost ready for the housewarming party !

The porte de Paris and le Befroi from the city hall

After a short walk outside, to buy our breakfast treats, we decided to go for a real walk by the end of the sunny Sunday.

On the way to the city hall, we passed the "Porte de Paris" to reach the parc Jean-Batiste Lebas.

Just besides, there is the old train station called la gare Saint-sauveur, which was working years ago, but which is now a place for cultural event, quite pretty, and FREE !

Furthermore, I had seen before that on this week-end, it was the "48h of fashion" or in french "les 48h maisons de mode", which meant to promote the young designers of Lille and the cities around. Thus we HAD to get in there !

On one side there was a modern art exposition, where we have to go back, on the other side the fashion designers.

And that's where I had a crush for a hand bag !! A black one, elegant which was calling me: "come and buy me, you need me !"

So I did ! Of course I have been hesitating, between the brown and the black, I had to ask Cheri's advie 10 times, but once the crush is there, nothing you can do, furthermore when it was on sale, 50% cheaper !!!

The designer is called Orlane Herbin, and her shop is in Roubaix.

I have to admit that I felt guilty afterwards, but not long !
